New Fools (13 times to feel you)

A head with no body. 13 bodies with no head. At the nexus of screen display, language and empathetic relations, 13 typographic-like characters derived from body gestures of classic clowns- reminiscent of international logotypes and street writing, perform with props 13 ways to feel. An animation in three acts, New Fools collapses the space of the stage and screen while providing narrative context for the characters and our identification with or in relation to them. In the frenetic 2nd act, bodies with their props playfully act out the feeling roles of sustenance, pleasure, support, violence, arrogance, acknowledgement, shelter, grooming, and transporting. 2010
